Cyquila LLC is a small, independent software studio based in Wylie, Texas. We build educational and AI apps for students — starting with the tools we wished we'd had while sitting at the kitchen table doing practice tests.
The studio is a father-and-son project. The father trained as a physicist (B.S., University of Science and Technology of China; Ph.D., Iowa State University). The son, Jensen, is a rising fifth grader who took 2nd place in UIL Number Sense — and who is the reason the first app exists, the first person to test every build, and the source of most of the good ideas in it.
The name is a compound: Cyclone, from Iowa State, and Aquila, the eagle constellation that carries the star Altair — "the flying eagle." A cyclone is a vortex; an eagle rides the lift. Physics that lifts the next generation. Hence the tagline: Minds in Flight.
Every feature answers a question a real student asked at a real kitchen table. If it doesn't help someone learn, it doesn't ship.
No ads. No trackers. No third-party analytics. No accounts. Practice data stays on the device, and we never sell or share it.
No investors, no growth targets, no dark patterns. A small studio that ships only what it would put in front of its own kid.
Real people answer — usually within two business days.
