Support & FAQ
Something not working, or a problem showing the wrong answer? Email hello@cyquila.com and tell us the contest and problem number — that is enough for us to find it.
Which contests are included?
AMC 8 from 2007 to 2026, and both the A and B contests of AMC 10 and AMC 12 from 2007 to 2025 — 95 contests and over 2,300 problems, each with worked solutions. The 2021 AMC 8 is absent because it was cancelled.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything ships inside the app. The only links that need a connection are the “View on AoPS Wiki” source link and the video-solution links, which open in your browser.
How do I switch between AMC 8, 10 and 12?
On the Home screen, under “Training for”. Everything else follows that choice — the problems you browse, the practice pool, the exam list and your accuracy figure — because those numbers only mean something within one competition.
Why is a blank answer worth marks in an exam?
Because that is how the real tests are scored. AMC 10 and AMC 12 award 6 points for a correct answer and 1.5 for a question left blank, so an unanswered question is worth more than a wrong guess. AMC 8 gives one point per correct answer with no penalty. Math Ace scores each contest its own way and says which before you start.
What is “needs review”?
The problems you got wrong most recently. Reinforce mode can draw from exactly that set, so you practice what you actually missed instead of what you already know.
Is my progress backed up?
No, and deliberately — nothing leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes your history with it.
A problem looks wrong
The problems and solutions come from the Art of Problem Solving wiki, and a page there is occasionally incomplete. Every problem screen has a link to its source so you can check. Tell us and we will fix what we can at our end.
